Sophie & Ian were married on the 14th October 2017 at the Salcombe Harbour Hotel in Devon. This was the last wedding of “the season” for me and it was just absolutely amazing to be a part of.
I arrived at the hotel around 10am and Sophie wasn’t quite ready for me to take photos, which gave me some time to get some photos of the ceremony room and a quick visit to see the Groom and his best man. Getting ready with the boys was their dog called Ted! I made lots of funny noises talking to Ted to get the perfect photos as he was the most fluffiest dog ever!
When I got into the room where Sophie was getting ready I got the chance to meet Sophie’s bridesmaids, it was so much fun to be a part of them getting ready and the Champagne was hilarious when the cork almost put a hole in the balcony roof!
The ceremony was short and sweet and when it was coming to the end the sun came out lighting up the room amazingly! After the ceremony we did the few family photos out on the balcony by the bar.
We then took a short walk through the town where we met the captain of a small wooden boat which took us across the harbour, onto a small and intimate beach, the bridesmaids and groomsmen joined us and we had such a laugh and got some really beautiful wedding photos!
In the evening we got to play with lots of sparklers, my absolute favourite way to end a wedding! The couple even did their first dance with all their guests holding them… just magical!
I would like to wish the newly weds all the best for the future x
